A few years back I drew a picture (that you can see in my gallery) of Van Halen's David Lee Roth. Some thought it was amusing. Others thought it was utterly blasphemous. Regardless of what people felt, I still drew it. It's here. It exists. And it wasn't any socio-political statement or a thought provoking piece on religion and those we put on altars. It was merely a tribute to DLR coming back to Van Halen. A second coming. And I would be remiss to tell you I didn't laugh the whole 30-40 hours it took me to draw it.
This piece hung on my wall for a couple years to remind me to keep a sense of humor about things no matter how bleak they got.
